1979 Maroondah Presbytery's New Areas Task Group recommended starting a Uniting Church congregation in Rowville
1981 (May 27) Mt Waverly-Monash Parish Council parents the Rowville Development
1981 Land purchased at the corner of Stud and Fulham Roads. Later swapped for present site
1982 (Jan) Neville Burrows (Project Officer) started work at Rowville
1982 (May 30) First Worship service celebrated at the "Meeting Room" near Rowvilel Recreation REserve by Rev. Bruce Bateman (then Presbytery Officer) and Neville Burrows
1982 (Dec 1) Rev. Alan Matthews called to ministry in Rowville
1983 (Jan) The Manse purchased
1983 (Jul) Induction of Rev. Alan Matthews
1985 (Jul) Worship moved to "Pres-School Centre" on Wellington Road
1987 (Nov) Commissioning of first Council of Elders & Parish Council
1988 (Mar 23) First sod turned for Stage 1 building
1988 (Dec) Granted Parish status by Presbytery of Maroondah
1988 (Dec) Completion of building and first service
1989 (Jun 18) Dedication and Official Opening Service
1989 (Dec 31) Ministry of Rev. Alan Matthews concludes
1990 (Mar 29) Induction of Rev. Kim Cain
1994 (Mar) First student minister in Parish
1994 (Jun) Community launch of building appeal for Stage 2 development
1995 (Apr) Work commences on Stage 2 building
1995 Friends of Bridgewater established
1996 (Mar 17) Dedication and Opening Service for Stage 2 Buildings
1996 (Mar 20) Bridgewater Centre Officially Opened
1997 Ministry of Rev. Kim Cain concludes
1998 Interim ministry of Rev. Lindsay Gorfine and Rev. Tom Howells
1999 (Jan) Induction of Rev. Malcolm Fraser
2003 Commencement of 9am traditional service
2003 Youth workers appointed with BOMAR funding support - Nahum Ayliffe and Michelle Hughes
2005 Youth Minstry Worker Lucas Taylor Appointed
2006 Fresh Youth Theatre and Fretshop guitar school sponsored as youth outreach activities
2010 (Feb 19) Induction of Rev. Trevor Bassett
2019 (Feb 24) Final service cutting the ties of ministry of Trevor Bassett as Trevor is called to a new role in the Presbytery of Western Districts Victoria.
